Whether you walk on two legs or four, Ideal Glass Studios, was the place to be for the Rescue Dogs Rock NYC Fashion Show: Puppy Love. Produced by Chance Spiessbach of ChanceTV, it was an over the top amalgamation of high fashion, electrifying performances, and heartfelt philanthropy. The night featured models on roller skates clad in mirrored bodysuits, Martha Graham dancers, avant-garde “Burners” from Burning Man, TV personalities, lingerie show, stars from Broadway and everyone’s favorite, those lovable rescue dogs. When fashion and compassion come together, the result is nothing short of fractalized magic.

The night kicked off with a mesmerizing performance by RS-Show Entertainment, igniting the energy in the room and setting the stage for a truly unforgettable experience. The runway was a spectacle as models strutted alongside adorable rescue dogs searching for their forever homes. Some lucky pups even had the honor of being walked by stars from Broadway, TV and even the big screen. No one knew who was going to emerge from backstage. As Chance said, “if guests have any idea what to expect, then I’m not doing my job.”

The fashion show took an alluring turn with a sultry lingerie showcase by Ex-teasy Lingerie, proving that you don’t have to wear alot to care a lot. Even supermodel Frederique van der Wal and her stunning daughter Scyler couldn’t resist gracing the runway, each accompanied by a furry friend. Celebrities from The Learning Channel‘s hit show “sMothered“, Gabriella Vigorito and Catherine Vigorito, also joined the cause, along with the ever-glamorous Dina Lohan and Ali Lohan.

The runway transformed into a scene straight out of Burning Man, as “Burners” captivated the audience with their signature avant-garde aesthetic. Amidst the flashing cameras and dancing guests raised funds for these beautiful creatures. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, and its dedicated supporters, many rescue dogs are now one step closer to finding loving homes.

One of the evening’s most unforgettable moments came when celebrity bodyguard “The Fancy Giant” (standing at a towering 7’1” and 490 lbs) made his grand entrance with his runway partner from the last show, Vixey. At 2 lbs, she is the world’s smallest tri-color Yorkie. However, the night’s biggest showstopper was 9 year old newcomer Ezra, whose striking Mohawk sent the crowd into a frenzy as he confidently strutted down the runway. As the night progressed, the crowd danced to the dynamic beats of DJ Eva Vos. Even SPOT, robotic dog, couldn’t resist grooving to her electrifying music.

The grand finale delivered a futuristic surprise when Boston Dynamics’ robotic dog, SPOT, walked the runway and then danced for the press, and even high-fived Chance. This mind blowing performance was made possible by The Robot Wranglers at 3D Cowboys, a company specializing in robotics entertainment, education, and consulting.

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, saves the most critically injured dogs. With nearly 10,000 rescues saved and over $15 million spent on their care, the organization continues to make a profound impact. Their efforts have been widely recognized, including a recent feature on Fox 5 NY.
