First of all I’ve never heard Taylor Swift’s music. And I have no desire to. I assume it must sound horrible. With all the marketing and advertising that goes into promoting her I cant imagine it can possibly be good. Also, with the low IQ of her fans, it doesn’t sound promising.
In 2020, I was getting all these targeted ads about Taylor swift’s new album that I replied on twitter that I don’t give a crap about Taylor so stop bombarding me. Well I got hundreds of responses when normally people rarely comment or respond to my posts. There was so much hate, I even received DEATH THREATS. And the comments were really dumb. Like someone saying TAYLOR recorded a whole album during lockdown. And I’m thinking so has every artist out there in 2020, because finally people have time to record their albums. Personally I got to record around 10 albums worth of my songs in 2020 (no I wasn’t watching any Netflix).
Some other fan of hers commented that TAYLOR has written songs in every genre. This was even reiterated by someone I met at a halloween party in 2020. And I’m just thinking what does that make her but a mere dabbler, an opportunist. I like originality in music not someone who’s just checking boxes off and covering every genre so as to corner as many fans as she can.
Also, 10 years ago when I visited my mother’s house, my cousin who had come was relating to us a crazy story about how she was driving on the highway with her 8 year old daughter who had spearheaded her own TAYLOR SWIFT fanclub and had thousands of followers. One day they were pulled over off the highway and then found there were dozens of other preteen girls pulled over as well and taken in secrecy to a mansion not knowing what was happening until TAYLOR SWIFT came out and greeted them. And told them how grateful she was. Basically she was building an army. They were later picked out of a concert audience by TAYLOR’s mother (her biz manager) and taken backstage. This a a cult, a very dangerous one.
